Last day of May, First day of June!

Finally I am back to blog after three weeks! Basically for the past few weeks nothing much most of the time is busy with school work, FYP and UTs except birthday celebration for Kev and Geraldine. Friday is the last day of school for the first half of semester and I have been longing for this two week holiday although is not a very long one but at least I can recharge myself with some activity!

Yesterday was my first time watching Momemtum and eleven of us went together! Overall the performance was not bad especially NRA! Superb! The whole performance meant to end by 9.45pm but end up delay for more than an hour. After the performance seven of us went down to Taboo and have fun!! The night finally comes to an end at 2.45am and I woke up 8am for aerobic class today! Total shag. -.-

SCHOOL + BIRD PARK + BBQ

Hmm school has started for two weeks and so far I don’t really like some of my classes. But there is nothing much I can do because I only know I got to learn and accept. Anyway school has been quite busy due to FYP too and things are starting to pile up in a way…

Last Sunday, just nice I am not having class that day so we decided to visit Bird Park since we have postponed the trip for quite sometimes. I have no idea why I will turn up for the trip too because all I did is screaming, pull the guys shirt and hide behind them whenever the bird are near me! HAHAHA. Hung and Dan they basket too! TSK. What kind of friends are they?! LOL. Keep teasing and scaring me with all their tricks but lucky I have Vivian with me that day to help me defend. -.-

Finally this week I have my long week end!! We decided to have BBQ at Hung’s place on Labour Day and invited Sam, Shu ling, vivian plus our usual clique. Although is just ten of us I feel that once in a while is really great to have a small gathering.

Visit Dan’s workplace after my aerobic class yesterday for a small gathering because we decided not to meet up on Sunday. My first time there and really is an eye-open experience for me to see how the gay and les behave and I feel some of them are sexier and gentle than me especially when I see how they dance and walk! HAHA.

Finally I got the permission to go clubbing but behind it there is definitely something I have to sacrifice. Anyway, had a great night on Wednesday with Cheryl, Gene, Diona, kev and his friend at butter fac!! I had so much fun crazy dancing with all of them. Went to meet the usual clique plus Kelvin on Tuesday evening at PS to catch movie KNOWING. Overall I feel that the movie not bad worth to watch jus that I don’t really like the ending because it leaves a lot of question marks in my brainy. LOL. There after we had no idea where to head so decided to visit Paulaner instead. Supposing all of us shared the one litre of Munich Lager end up that jug belong to Dan and kev! -.- Most of our face are red when we are going off. :p

Sleepless Night

Sigh.

Everyday I’m facing problem getting myself to bed!! I think my sleeping and waking up time is all in a mess and I need to do something about it before school start. ):

Sleeping early will help to solve my complexion problem and healthier in a way I guess and now I am trying to have a cup of hot milk before going to bed hoping it will make me fall asleep faster.

The feeling of lying on the bed and cant get yourself to close the eyes to sleep is terrible and I have experienced the longest is 3 hours! Staying that awake and helplessly staring on the ceiling with the light off and seeing my sisters sleeping soundly makes me feel even worse!

Now, listening to my mp3 doesn’t help anymore and that’s why I'm searching for alternative…

Go Singapore Music!

Went down to Mosaic Music Festival @ Esplanade after having our dinner at Bugis and tonight the performance is Rock Steady! Caught all the 3 performances by different bands and the most impressive and awesome definitely goes to the local band, The Goodfellas. The lead singer has a powerful voice and he can perform all the high pitch songs which is soothing to my ear. HAHA. They interact well with the audience and throughout the performance it was entertaining. Most importantly, the atmosphere at the outdoor theatre is HIGH! Great show and seriously thumbs up for them!

If I’m not wrong I saw Sarah Wee there too! She belongs to another band 53A which also participated in last year Mosaic Music Festival. I simply LOVE her voice and I always wanted to watch her performance at timbre. Woot!

After watching today’s performance it makes me even more tempted to visit Timbre!!!

No money, no entertainment. SIGH.

Hope I can go back to esplanade on Sunday to catch the last day performance (:

Sentosa Excursion!

Last Sunday, I had a tiring yet enjoyable day with my clique at Sentosa! We managed to get all the attractions ticket at a cheaper rate and all this thanks to HUNG EE and his MUM! (: (: It’s my first time taking Cable Car to and fro Sentosa. When we reached there, the whole place was packed with Kevin’s Clan of people and they are so damm irritating because they push us without apologising, impatient, answer us when Joy and I are not even talking to them and the worse is he keeps following us wherever we go! Anyway, Luge and Skyride, Sentosa Cineblast and Sentosa 4D Magix are the most interesting attractions compared to the others. We played Luge and Skyride twice because like what their slogan said Once Is Never Enough! HAHA. On the whole, we took around 7 hours to complete everything that are on the list!

Valentine Day!

Being single on this day is not the end of the world. Love does not only exist between a couple as love is really “all around”. (: If you think about it, love is everywhere! There’s the most immediate kind of love - the love we have for our parents and the one they have for us. There’s love between your siblings, relatives and our self. There’s love between the group of friends and buddies you hang out with. One universal way of making loved ones happy as well as friends is to cook a yummy meal for them!

Yes! I do agree by preparing a meal or baking some pastries for someone that is dearest to us is one of the best ways to show our appreciation and love. And I had baked Financiers for the guys and gals whom I meeting this evening, hope they will like it. =D

Anyway, hope it will be a enjoyable evening for all of us and no matter what you guys and gals do I will appreciate loads and love you all many. HAHA. (:

Class Chalet!

9th to 11th February was the class chalet at Downtown East but I only stayed on the second night. Hmm overall it was quite fun and I’m glad to see my classmates again after a few weeks of holiday! Had a great chat with the guys and seriously they are super funny especially Yuan Xiang. We shared our point of view and stories regarding ‘L.O.V.E’. It seems interesting to know something that is deep down in their heart and the little secret from them. (:

BeeBee Q

It’s my first time going over to sweetie place and to me is ulu. So I need a tour guide to bring me there and of course this big responsibility eventually lies on Zen Bowu which already knows the place super well. HAHA. Went to meet him in the afternoon at around 4pm at AMK hub and got some stuff before we meet the rest to her place. Not long after we reached, the guys help to set up the fire while the gals are given the privilege to seat down and wait for the fire to be ready. After a while, we started playing 21 points with the small kids and not bad for a first timer I earned some bucks. LOL. Started barbequing after playing a few rounds with them and we took pics, eat and BBQ at the same time. It was fun spending the whole evening at sweetie’s place even though I just got to know her friends today but I’m glad that I can get along with them. They are indeed a group of friendly people!

Nice music plus comfy place plus good company and great food prepared by sweetie is really more than enough or I can said is even better than going out to have a gathering. The atmosphere is real good and I love it. (:

Had a great time today and most importantly I get to see Rachel Fong and Zen Bowu after so long!!

In order to stay away from the war in my house, I decided to go out and enjoy myself! Went out in the afternoon around 3 plus to meet Kevin and same thing happen again that shao ye is LATE! TSK TSK TSK.

Because we have no idea where to go, both of us decided to meet at Vivo and initially I wanted to catch Bride War but I know Kevin is not interested and what he is interested does not attract me. Thus, we give a miss on movie and went to have desert at Thai Express instead! Seriously it cost us a bomb just by ordering 3 deserts and we find it totally not worth it plus not tasty at all. **yucks!

While chatting and thinking where to head off next, I thought of Marina Barrage a place where I wanted to go all along. Finally, I made my way there yesterday where Kevin is willing to accompany me! Haha. So we train down to Marina Bay and took the last shuttle bus to our destination. Seriously, Marina Barrage is a nice place to chill, picnic and fly kites! It is super windy when we reached there and not so crowded too but lots of couples. LOL. Thus is sort of weird when both of us are there, but who cares we still enjoy ourselves by the wind, grassland, clear blue skies, beautiful scenery, water and bird chipping! * I did not exaggerate, that’s how great the place is. Haha. Highly recommend people. (: Kevin and I decided to go back there again someday in the night to see the view where all the lightings are up and of course if possible stars!

Went off an hour later to catch the last shuttle bus back to train station and since the night is still young we travelled down to Esplanade! We caught some performance and had a walk to One Fullerton after that home sweet home!

The Salty Coffee

He met her on a party, she was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her,while he was so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to politeness, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please, let me back home. Suddenly he asked the waiter: would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee.

Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but, still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously: why you have this hobby? He replied: when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea, I like playing in the sea, I could felt the taste of the sea, salty and bite, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I will think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who still living there. Saying that, tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched. That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart.

"A man who can tell out his homesick, he must be a man loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home," she thought. Then she also started to talk, talked about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story. They continue to date. She found actually he was a man who meets all her demands: he was tolerance, kind hearted, warm, careful...he was such a good guy but she almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee!

Then the story was just like every beautiful love story: the princess married to the prince, then they were living the happy life...And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee, as she knew that's the way he liked.

After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said: "My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you, the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt. It's hard for me to change so I just go ahead. I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything..Now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste..but I have the salty coffee for my whole life since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life. If I can live for the second time, I still want to know you and have you as my whole life wife, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again."

Her tears made the letter totally wet. Someday, someone asked her: What's the taste of salty coffee? It's sweet. She replied.

Moral of the story:

LOVE is not to forget but to forgive, not to see but understand, not to hear but to listen, not to let go but hold on!

Friday was the last day of the semester 2 and year 2! Decided to go school although the class is real bored. I don’t want to miss the last chance working with my classmates and having fun with them. (: Surprisingly, most of us wear black or white colour clothing on that day without planning!

Class ended quite early and went off with the usual clique except Joy to have some fun after class.

First stop: Archery at Suntec! I think I’m addicted after the first try. Haha.

Second stop: Dinner at Sakae, Funan IT Mall! Anyway, Kevin, Limin and me we have a hard time searching for Sakae Buffet!! ):

Last stop: Millennia Walk to have a drink!

Reached home at around 1 plus after Hung Ee sent Kevin and Limin home. Overall, had a great time with them and enjoyed myself! (:

Jus to update what I have been doing before school started! HAHA.

During the last week of holiday, I have spent it wisely with my friends and family. :) Met up with bestie they all to celebrate Christmas and had our gift exchange! I got a bottle of wine from Alvin. LOL. Sis, Jon and me three of us finished up the bottle of wine on the last day of year 2008! We decided to stay home and countdown to 2009 and we ordered some pizza and munch it. *Grow FAT and DIE!

Oh I also had my class outing on the 30th! Not a lot of them turn up but nevertheless we still had a great time bonding together. We settled ourselves at Billy Bombers for dinner and followed by drinks at Singapore Sling. Dinner + Singapore Sling = Cost a BOMB. Joy and me had to left early and the rest continue their night at Clark Quay..

Went to meet up with Marie and Cheryl @ Garden on last Friday for singing session that we have missed super long! 3 persons sing from 2 to 8pm for only 33 bucks!!! WOOHOO. Cheap isn’t it?! hahah. Then decided to go market and settle our dinner before we move on to the desert house. (:

Hmm class started yesterday and I am dragging myself away from my comfort zone that I have been enjoying for the past 3 weeks of holiday! Yes I need to adjust my sleeping time or else for the rest of the day I will be suffering badly. Time passes real fast and its 2009! 10 more classes to go and I’ll be away to enjoy my 10 weeks holiday which mean it marks the end of this semester.

Suppose to meet sweetie and sister during the holiday for steamboat but three of us missed our bed too much thus decided to give a miss instead. So we make up the meeting today and had our lunch together during the second break..although is jus a short while but it feel so good that after a year plus we are still keep in contact and the friendship did not fade as we change classes. Loves you!

Okay, that’s what I feel. HAHA.

Anyway, things are cleared between both of us and surprisingly I can take it. In fact, I am feeling happier and relieve now perhaps it’s because the question does came to my mind for the past few days. I am glad that all the while we don’t hide our feeling and thoughts. Of course, this definitely plays a part why we do not feel the pains as much as we expected when we brought the question up to each other. Lastly, I am thankful that over the months I feel the concern and care from you as well as the love that you gave me and I do agree that action speak louder than words because you prove it to me.(: let’s give ourselves sometime to let the feeling slowly fade away and move on with our life. Headed to town and celebrate my birthday at Waraku with the gals! Haha. The surprise they gave me was totally successful!!! I was shocked when I saw the gift on my table after break and who know s when I step out of the class wanted to find them, the gals appear in front of me with a cake. That’s sweet. (: Overall, it was indeed the MOST MEMORABLE birthday surprise I ever had. LOL. Thanks a million pretties.

Summary of the busy week!

Bankrupt!
I gonna declare bankrupt in November and December! Hahaha. 7 of my friends are having birthday in November and 9 in December! LOL. Seriously, when can I get the pay from CHOCZ?! I need them urgently. It’s been more than a month and they still holding on to it and they just irritate us to the max! I WANT $$$$$$$$$!

Bad Health!
Have been visiting the doctor recently for knee cap and my skin problem! This shows how bad my health is now. Argh! Doctor said there is no improvement in my knee cap and he has emphasized that I should stop my aerobic class and let my knee cap rest to recover. But I have only attend the class twice and it will be waste of money if I gave up now cause class only started two weeks ago. Meanwhile, I have to continue to consume calcium, collagen and have some sun tan for vitamin D. Hmm, who is free to join me for a sun tan?! Haha. Luckily, my skins have healed after taking some medication as well as applying cream. Relieved!

Ting Hui’s Birthday!

Happy Birthday Ting Hui!
Xin Rou, Cheryl, Sokky, Gene, Jacky, Felicia, Kok Liang, Bing Ling, Ting Hui’s last semester classmate and me have planned a birthday surprised for her during the second break! Hmm we did not prepared much and we bought her a birthday cake from prima deli, tutu kueh and a bottle of stars that filled with our message. Haha. Hope Ting Hui don’t mind the simple surprised from us! LOL.

Bestie 18th Birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHERYLIN! (:
Alvin, Bestie, Marie and me decided to have dinner at Paragon to celebrate her birthday! We went to an Indonesia Restaurant and the food there are not bad, quite filling and the price are reasonable too. Great deal! Bestie’s BF is sweet enough to wake up early in the morning at 6am to bake her birthday cake and this time round it taste much better than last year! LOL. After dinner we walk around and decided to go and chill @ Indochine. It is my first time there and the ambience not bad too! Marie and me we ordered Serena and it taste good whereas Bestie ordered Sex on the beach and Alvin ordered beer. Haha. Overall, although is just a simple celebration but glad to know that Bestie has enjoyed herself! Love ya(:

Braces!
Yeah! I removed my braces this afternoon after wearing for 1 year and 5 months. It is faster than what I have expected and now I am feeling weird without my braces on it especially when I look in the mirror! I need time to adapt the changes. Haha. Going back to clinic next sat to collect my retainers! Woohoo retainers are special design with my name on it and are RED in colour. =D

Dad and Mum 28th Wedding Anniversary!
Three of us bought a pair of Singapore Flyer tickets for dad and mum as their anniversary gift this year! We brought them there this evening to have a ride and from dad’s comment he said the ride was worth it and mum like it too. heex. We decided to go Suntec and settle our dinner @ Soup Restaurant. After that is shopping time! Weehee and I bought my SANUK slipper. =D

FINALLY I AM DONE WITH MY PP!!!!! YEAHHH.

Yesterday was my PP assessment! The day before I was so stressed up and nervous that I couldn’t fell asleep! I slept at 6am and woke up at 10.30am. OMG. I am very worried that I cannot manage and present well on the day itself but luckily everything went fine after I started presenting. On the whole it took months for me to complete the whole module and it was really relieve that everything is over! It’s time to enjoy now before I start my FYP next year. (:

She was so sweet that she hand made a flower for me with my name sews on it! AM!

The sweetest thing was she brought me a bottle of honey drink after she heard from Marie that I not feeling well.

I am super touched when I received the drink and the little flower she made (:

It might be something that you think is normal and nothing special about, but to me it meant a lot and this little thing you do is more than enough to brighten up my drowsy day.

For the past few days it is like a nightmare!

Things aren’t that perfect as we expected.

In fact, it is disappointing.

I realise a lot of changes take place within that few days.

Some are good and of course some are bad!

Pray hard I have the ability to cope with it.

Put that a side I think I have gain a lot in terms of friendship!

That’s definitely.

And they are the ones that go through the tough period together with me during the 3 days!

I enjoy the time we spent together.

Had a great day shopping with my sis yesterday! Weehee. Bought quite a number of stuffs and most importantly is my covered shoe. I am so worried that I did not mange to get one pair BUT luck is on my side yesterday or else I will be declared DOOM on the F1 days. LOL. Travelled down to bishan at around 5pm cause dad, mum and da jie gonna fetch us to celebrate my dearest er jie birthday. Er jie decided to have her birthday dinner at our favourite Peranakan restaurant @ Bukit Timah. Dinner was shiok and full, the food there never fails to satisfy our stomach. (: (: Headed down to Vivocity after dinner to continue our shopping! HAHA.

That is how I spend my whole Saturday, SHOPPING and nothing else. It’s been so long ever since I bought new clothes and my new bag is on the way too.

I’m HAPPY.

I think something is wrong with me lahhhh seriously….cause recently I been feeling emotional quite easily and sometime I find it is dumb to feel that way over a small matter but I just can’t control. The worse thing is whenever I feel down I will find food and eat so I feel better even though I am not hungry. ):

Sis is coming back in the evening and time really flies man! But I am still thinking whether I should join my family to fetch her because I don’t want to miss the women’s table tennis final. It is difficult to make a choice and I hate to make decision!!!

Today I pon class and choose to stay at home since sweetheart and the rest of my team mates decided not to turn up for class. It was pathetic to know that only Chun Hui, Eugene, Lina and Tian Hao stayed till the third meeting…

The whole morning was real bored!! Seriously I do not have any mood to complete my report although I wanted to do it badly and I just can’t get myself to settle down. That’s bad. I have been slacking at home for the past 3 days and doing nuts except eating, watching tv, sleep and nothing else.

Bored.

Haha. I cannot think of any other words to describe my day except BORED. sad )=

Sweetheart message me this afternoon asking whether I wanna meet her up at J8, and I know I’ll be bored to death if I continue to stay home. So I decided to meet her up (: Hmm nothing really caught my eyes so I ended up bought nothing then we decided to leave after having our desert. We headed off to different place where sweetheart went to meet up with her friend and home sweet home for me.

Tomorrow is the last day for sem 1 and I don’t know how to describe the feeling is like. It is neither sad nor happy. Haiz. Gene, Serene, Sin Hwee, Kelvin, Sam, Derrick and me we planned to have dinner together after class at Chomp Chomp but we have no plans after dinner so we shall see how thing goes tomorrow then.

Hmm woke up rather early this morning went to gym with my da jie…haha at first I was quite reluctant to go because I scared I will miss the swimming competition after knowing that Michael Phelps is participating in one of the event. He is such a great swimmer!!! LOL. But end up I still miss his race while on my way home. Zzz… Anyway, he defended his Olympic title in the men’s 400m individual medley with a new record. Yeah =D

Hahaha then came across this handsome cute Korea swimmer while watching the competition this morning…He is PARK TAE-HWAN and omg he is only 19 this year! Guess he will be the next Michael Phelps in the coming years…cute rite?!!

Went to send da jie off in the afternoon and she gonna be away for 1 week for business trip.

08.08.08, 8.08pm! It’s a historical moment that China had made their dream come true, 2008 Beijing Olympics! I was really stunned and amazed by the performance while watching the Grand Opening Ceremony. Indeed it was really IMPRESSIVE and SPECTACULAR….clap clap!! Good Job Beijing!

NORDKAPP 71° 10' 21"

This is something that I came across yesterday while watching a show on channel U...The MIDNIGHT SUN!! It is located at Europe's northermost point. When I first saw I was stunned and fell in love with it. haha. I hope that one day I'll be able to visit Northkapp. Life around the North Cape is fascinating and seems attractive to me.. hahas

North Cape is a cape on the island of Magerøya in northern Norway, rises a proud and mighty 308 meters above the Barents Sea. North Cape is the last point before the sea ice in the north. It is a meeting place for people from all over the world. For all of them the dream is the same, to let the eyes dwell over the endless horizon to the north and to know that now they have reached their goal.

By the way today is TGIF!! WOOHOO. finally!!! today class is rather boring and now a few more hours to go before I end class..just bear a while more am. hahas. alrighty is time for me to get back and worrrkkkkkk. that's sick. ):

Today is WEDNESDAY meaning I am on my way to TGIF and the weekends!!! HURRAY! hahas.

I have been looking foreward to the weekends so I can have a good rest and my long long long hours of sleep and seriously I am depriving of it badly.

Sweetheart, Derrick, Serene, Eugene and me all of us went to visit the cold chain warehouse and there was nothing much for us becasue our then commodities there are nothing for us to see. How boring can it be?! haha and I am interested more on the trip we have after the visit! We headed down to town and have a great time shopping. Poor Derrick joined us but end up most of the time he is waiting for the three ladies..we felt so bad about it making him wait for us and Derrick is super nice lah! He never even grumble a single words to us and I must agree he is a super duper patient person becasue I doubt I can be like him. LOL.

By the way I'll be visiting gay pub during the holidays!! WOOHOO. Something that is new to me and I heard we have to put on a tag to indicate we are not gay before entering. hahas. How cool can that be?!
